West Cork Irish Whiskey at Bord Bia Poland Visit and Whiskey & Friends

A recent visit to Warsaw saw West Cork Irish Whiskey take part in Bord Bia’s SPARK Poland Spirits Inspiration Visit, followed by the Whiskey & Friends Festival alongside M&P Pavlina .

The Bord Bia programme provided an opportunity to engage directly with the Polish market. This included meeting importers and distributors, visiting key on- and off-trade accounts, and gaining a clearer view of current category trends. The market continues to show steady growth in premium spirits, with increasing interest in provenance, quality and flavour.

Following the in-market programme, Whiskey & Friends provided a platform to engage with both trade and consumers. The event attracted a strong mix of industry professionals and whiskey enthusiasts, offering a setting to present the West Cork range.

There was good interest across the portfolio, with tastings leading to conversations around the core expressions and the Maritime series in particular. The role of coastal maturation and cask selection was a key talking point.

Overall, the visit provided a useful opportunity to build relationships, gather market insight and support continued development in Central Europe.

Thanks to Bord Bia and M&P Pavlina for their support, and to everyone who took the time to meet and taste the range.
