Recently we had the pleasure of welcoming our valued international partners, M&P Pavlina, to West Cork Distillers for a memorable two-day visit that combined whiskey, hospitality, and the stunning landscapes of West Cork.
The visit began with a warm welcome from our CEO, John O’Connell, and Distribution Account Manager, Kevin Madden, followed by an immersive distillery tour offering a behind-the-scenes look at the craft and care behind each bottle we produce.
That evening, Kevin hosted a relaxed dinner at the charming Mary Ann’s in Castletownshend, where our guests enjoyed a taste of local hospitality and cuisine.
The following day, the group set off to explore more of West Cork’s natural beauty. After a morning pickup in Skibbereen, they travelled to Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa for a scenic lunch with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. The afternoon brought a truly special experience: a whale-watching excursion from Courtmacsherry, offering a close-up encounter with the wild, rugged coastline that defines our region.
The visit concluded with an elegant dinner at The Church Restaurant in Skibbereen — a fitting end to a visit that celebrated not only the spirit of our whiskey but the spirit of West Cork itself.
