West Cork Irish Whiskey attended Whisky Live Germany for the first time this year, held at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg on 11–12 October 2025 . It was the debut of the event in Germany and a new opportunity for us to meet whisky enthusiasts and share our story.
Our importer, Kirsch Import , holds the license for Whisky Live Germany and played a key role in bringing the event to Hamburg. Their support made it possible for us to introduce West Cork Irish Whiskey to a new audience.
The event ran over two days, with the public welcomed on Saturday to explore different whiskies, attend tastings, and meet brand representatives. Sunday was aimed at trade visitors, giving us the chance to connect with retailers and other industry professionals.
For West Cork, Whisky Live Germany offered an opportunity to showcase our range including our Maritime range and Bourbon Cask , share the story of our distillery, and connect with both enthusiasts and trade partners. Being part of the first event in Germany felt like a natural step in introducing our whiskey to a wider audience.
The first year of Whisky Live Germany was a positive start. With Kirsch Import’s support and a growing interest in Irish whiskey across Europe, we look forward to continuing to share our whiskey and our story at future events.
